The 2001 NSCA Texas State Shoot was held at American Shooting Centers, Houston, TX. This year's State Shoot was the largest yet as far as attendance. There were over 400 competitors in the Main Event. Many traveled from other states to attend this event which is historically the largest NSCA state shoot. Even Louisiana, our neighbor, changed the date of its state shoot as it coincided with the Texas date. Congratulations to Prairie Moon which will be the location for the 2002 State Shoot.
