The weather was sunny and a balmy 40 or so
degrees with winds of 10 to 15 mph. It made for a lovely environment for
shotgunning. Duck hunters would have loved it!!
We had 46 brave souls come out for some
pretty tough targets, which included 42% specialty targets, I.E., rabbits,
battues, minis, rabbit teal, midis, minis, and interesting tower shots.
Ask Stan Faison what he thought about the targets. He was HOA with an 80.
Like I said, tough, but shootable targets. We listened to some of the
threads on Shooterspages and offered more specialty targets, and with a
bit more difficulty. Of course, the cold weather probably had a lot to do
with some of the low scores. Oh well. We can't always pick the weather for
our shoots. At least, it was dry. [Mell Wells]
